Large Clear Glass Pitcher
,850 g Water Glass Pitcher
,Shaped Lip Serving Glass Pitcher
Clear Glass Pitcher 11 cm Rim 15.2 cm Tall 850 g Large Water Serving Jug is a glass pitcher built around a wide body tapering to a shaped pouring lip with a full loop handle in clear and colourless, with plain polished surface. It is produced in our glass workshop for buyers who need a repeatable decorative programme rather than a one off sample, and the piece shown here carries the a heavy clear jug sized for table water service in hotels and restaurants.
Large jugs fail at the handle far more often than the body, so a filled sample test is the only reliable approval method. Every unit is annealed in a controlled lehr so that wall stress stays within our breakage specification, and dimensions are checked against the measurement sheet printed on the photography. The result is a glass that looks individual on the shelf but behaves predictably in a container load.
Key Features- 850 g Heavy Build: A substantial body that survives daily racking and washing.
- Wide 11 cm Rim: A large opening fills fast and takes ice without a funnel.
- Full Loop Handle: Drawn from the same gather, so the handle holds under a full load.
- Shaped Lip: The mouth cuts drips without a separate spout insert.
- 8.3 cm Base: A broad foot keeps a full jug stable on the table.
- Clear Glass: Water level stays visible so staff can top up without lifting.

This glass pitcher is aimed at hotels, restaurants, banquet halls and cafe groups. Buyers typically place it in a range that needs one recognisable decorative accent without moving to a full bespoke mould, and because the body is a standard production shape the tooling cost is already absorbed into the piece price.
In service the glass is expected to move between back of house washing and front of house display several times a day. The surface withstands standard commercial detergents, and the rim geometry has been kept simple so that stacking and racking do not put point loads on the lip. For retail programmes the same item can be boxed as a single unit or combined with the matching pieces in our range to build a story around colour and pattern.
Sampling buyers usually test three things: whether the decoration survives twenty dishwasher cycles, whether the base sits flat on a granite or marble surface, and whether case pack dimensions match their pallet plan. All three can be confirmed with a stock sample before any production deposit is placed.
Packaging and Quality AssuranceEach piece is packed in a moulded pulp or corrugated divider inside a five layer export carton, with a printed sleeve available for retail programmes. Case pack quantities are set so that a full pallet loads without void fill, which keeps freight cost per unit down for mixed container orders.
Production is inspected at three points: incoming glass quality, decoration placement, and final packing. AQL inspection follows the usual 2.5 major and 4.0 minor plan unless a buyer specifies otherwise, and we keep a retained sample from each run so that repeat orders can be matched for colour and pattern density.
Care and Handling- Large Clear Pitcher
- Heavy Water Jug
- Restaurant Serving Jug
Hand washing with a soft sponge is recommended where a decorative surface is present, and dishwasher use is acceptable on a normal cycle at moderate temperature. Avoid sudden temperature change such as pouring boiling liquid into a chilled glass, since thermal shock remains the most common cause of breakage in any annealed glassware. Stored correctly, the piece is designed for years of daily use.
