Gilt Double Band Stemmed Glass 22 cm Tall 190 g Gold Rim and Foot is a stemmed glass built around a wide bowl on a segmented stem with a ball node over a gold edged foot in clear glass with gold rim and gold foot edge, with fired gold bands with a moulded ball node on the stem. It is produced in our glass workshop for buyers who need a repeatable decorative programme rather than a one off sample, and the piece shown here carries the gold on the rim and on the foot edge, with a ball node breaking up the stem.
Gold decorated glass is normally hand washed or washed on a delicate cycle; buyers should state which service the venue will use before ordering. Every unit is annealed in a controlled lehr so that wall stress stays within our breakage specification, and dimensions are checked against the measurement sheet printed on the photography. The result is a glass that looks individual on the shelf but behaves predictably in a container load.
Key Features- Two Gold Bands: Gold on both rim and foot frames the glass, which is what makes it read as a formal piece.
- Ball Node Stem: A moulded node on the stem breaks the line and reinforces a common break point.
- 10.5 cm Bowl: A wide bowl that suits wine as well as dessert and sparkling service.
- 190 g Weight: Light for a 22 cm glass with a 10.5 cm bowl.
- Fired Gold: The band is fired onto the glass, which is what keeps the line unbroken after washing.
- Formal Table Fit: The rim and foot combination works with white linen and gold flatware.

This stemmed glass is aimed at banquet and wedding tables, hotel restaurants and gift retail. Buyers typically place it in a range that needs one recognisable decorative accent without moving to a full bespoke mould, and because the body is a standard production shape the tooling cost is already absorbed into the piece price.
In service the glass is expected to move between back of house washing and front of house display several times a day. The surface withstands standard commercial detergents, and the rim geometry has been kept simple so that stacking and racking do not put point loads on the lip. For retail programmes the same item can be boxed as a single unit or combined with the matching pieces in our range to build a story around colour and pattern.
Sampling buyers usually test three things: whether the decoration survives twenty dishwasher cycles, whether the base sits flat on a granite or marble surface, and whether case pack dimensions match their pallet plan. All three can be confirmed with a stock sample before any production deposit is placed.
Packaging and Quality AssuranceEach piece is packed in a moulded pulp or corrugated divider inside a five layer export carton, with a printed sleeve available for retail programmes. Case pack quantities are set so that a full pallet loads without void fill, which keeps freight cost per unit down for mixed container orders.
Production is inspected at three points: incoming glass quality, decoration placement, and final packing. AQL inspection follows the usual 2.5 major and 4.0 minor plan unless a buyer specifies otherwise, and we keep a retained sample from each run so that repeat orders can be matched for colour and pattern density.
Care and Handling- Gilt Band Stemware
- Gold Rim and Foot Glass
- Segmented Stem Glass
Hand washing with a soft sponge is recommended where a decorative surface is present, and dishwasher use is acceptable on a normal cycle at moderate temperature. Avoid sudden temperature change such as pouring boiling liquid into a chilled glass, since thermal shock remains the most common cause of breakage in any annealed glassware. Stored correctly, the piece is designed for years of daily use.
