Amber Ribbed Stemmed Glass 20.5 cm Tall 210 g Tapered Bowl Stemware is a stemmed glass built around a tapered bowl with internal grooves on a clear stem over a 7 cm foot in amber bowl on a clear stem and foot, with internal grooves producing banded light through the amber. It is produced in our glass workshop for buyers who need a repeatable decorative programme rather than a one off sample, and the piece shown here carries the an amber bowl with cut grooves, on a clear stem so the colour stays in the bowl.
Amber glass is usually specified for whisky programmes, where the tint is read as part of the product presentation. Every unit is annealed in a controlled lehr so that wall stress stays within our breakage specification, and dimensions are checked against the measurement sheet printed on the photography. The result is a glass that looks individual on the shelf but behaves predictably in a container load.
Key Features- Amber Bowl Clear Stem: Colour stays in the bowl while the stem and foot remain neutral, which suits mixed table settings.
- Internal Grooves: Grooves are cut into the wall, so the banding is part of the glass rather than a surface effect.
- 9 cm Rim: A wide opening that works for wine and for spirits served in a stemmed glass.
- 210 g Weight: Solid for the height, with the mass balanced between bowl and foot.
- Warm Palette: Amber reads well against timber, brass and dark linens.
- Clear Joint: The bowl to stem transition stays clear, which hides the joint in service.

This stemmed glass is aimed at restaurant and bar service, whisky presentation and gift retail. Buyers typically place it in a range that needs one recognisable decorative accent without moving to a full bespoke mould, and because the body is a standard production shape the tooling cost is already absorbed into the piece price.
In service the glass is expected to move between back of house washing and front of house display several times a day. The surface withstands standard commercial detergents, and the rim geometry has been kept simple so that stacking and racking do not put point loads on the lip. For retail programmes the same item can be boxed as a single unit or combined with the matching pieces in our range to build a story around colour and pattern.
Sampling buyers usually test three things: whether the decoration survives twenty dishwasher cycles, whether the base sits flat on a granite or marble surface, and whether case pack dimensions match their pallet plan. All three can be confirmed with a stock sample before any production deposit is placed.
Packaging and Quality AssuranceEach piece is packed in a moulded pulp or corrugated divider inside a five layer export carton, with a printed sleeve available for retail programmes. Case pack quantities are set so that a full pallet loads without void fill, which keeps freight cost per unit down for mixed container orders.
Production is inspected at three points: incoming glass quality, decoration placement, and final packing. AQL inspection follows the usual 2.5 major and 4.0 minor plan unless a buyer specifies otherwise, and we keep a retained sample from each run so that repeat orders can be matched for colour and pattern density.
Care and Handling- Amber Ribbed Stemware
- Tapered Bowl Glass
- Amber Wine Glass
Hand washing with a soft sponge is recommended where a decorative surface is present, and dishwasher use is acceptable on a normal cycle at moderate temperature. Avoid sudden temperature change such as pouring boiling liquid into a chilled glass, since thermal shock remains the most common cause of breakage in any annealed glassware. Stored correctly, the piece is designed for years of daily use.
