Orb Bubble Base Glass Series Three Colourways 16 cm Tall 340 g Cup is a stemmed cup built around a tapered cup on a solid glass ball foot filled with bubbles in clear cup with pink, blue or clear bubble ball foot, with bubbles suspended in a solid glass foot. It is produced in our glass workshop for buyers who need a repeatable decorative programme rather than a one off sample, and the piece shown here carries the a solid bubble filled glass ball as the foot, in pink, blue and clear.
Solid ball feet need a deeper carton cavity than a flat foot, so case pack dimensions should be confirmed before a container order. Every unit is annealed in a controlled lehr so that wall stress stays within our breakage specification, and dimensions are checked against the measurement sheet printed on the photography. The result is a glass that looks individual on the shelf but behaves predictably in a container load.
Key Features- Solid Ball Foot: The foot is a solid glass sphere, not a hollow stem, so the piece stands firmly.
- Bubbles Inside: Air bubbles are trapped in the ball at the gather, so they cannot rub off.
- Three Colourways: Pink, blue and clear in one range, so a buyer can order one or mix.
- 340 g Weight: The mass is in the ball, which is what keeps a narrow cup upright.
- 16 cm Format: A short cup for dessert, liqueurs and cocktail service.
- Clear Cup: An undecorated body keeps the focus on the foot.

This stemmed cup is aimed at bars, dessert service, gift retail and event styling. Buyers typically place it in a range that needs one recognisable decorative accent without moving to a full bespoke mould, and because the body is a standard production shape the tooling cost is already absorbed into the piece price.
In service the glass is expected to move between back of house washing and front of house display several times a day. The surface withstands standard commercial detergents, and the rim geometry has been kept simple so that stacking and racking do not put point loads on the lip. For retail programmes the same item can be boxed as a single unit or combined with the matching pieces in our range to build a story around colour and pattern.
Sampling buyers usually test three things: whether the decoration survives twenty dishwasher cycles, whether the base sits flat on a granite or marble surface, and whether case pack dimensions match their pallet plan. All three can be confirmed with a stock sample before any production deposit is placed.
Packaging and Quality AssuranceEach piece is packed in a moulded pulp or corrugated divider inside a five layer export carton, with a printed sleeve available for retail programmes. Case pack quantities are set so that a full pallet loads without void fill, which keeps freight cost per unit down for mixed container orders.
Production is inspected at three points: incoming glass quality, decoration placement, and final packing. AQL inspection follows the usual 2.5 major and 4.0 minor plan unless a buyer specifies otherwise, and we keep a retained sample from each run so that repeat orders can be matched for colour and pattern density.
Care and Handling- Bubble Base Glass
- Solid Ball Foot Cup
- Three Colour Cup
Hand washing with a soft sponge is recommended where a decorative surface is present, and dishwasher use is acceptable on a normal cycle at moderate temperature. Avoid sudden temperature change such as pouring boiling liquid into a chilled glass, since thermal shock remains the most common cause of breakage in any annealed glassware. Stored correctly, the piece is designed for years of daily use.
