Yellow Rim Bubble Glass Bowl 11 cm Rim 8 cm Tall 350 g Dessert and Ice Cream Bowl is a glass bowl built around a wide shallow bowl opening from a small 4.9 cm foot in clear with a painted yellow rim band, with bubble texture inside the wall plus a fired yellow rim. It is produced in our glass workshop for buyers who need a repeatable decorative programme rather than a one off sample, and the piece shown here carries the a wide shallow bowl with an internal bubble texture and a yellow rim band, aimed at dessert and ice cream service.
Dessert bowls are usually sold in sets of four or six, so this shape is priced as a volume item with case packs built around pallet loads. Every unit is annealed in a controlled lehr so that wall stress stays within our breakage specification, and dimensions are checked against the measurement sheet printed on the photography. The result is a glass that looks individual on the shelf but behaves predictably in a container load.
Key Features- Wide 11 cm Opening: The broad mouth leaves room for scoops, fruit and garnish without spillage.
- Yellow Rim Band: A fired yellow line frames the dessert and matches lemon or vanilla presentations.
- Bubble Wall: Bubbles inside the wall soften reflections and make the bowl look frosted without coating the surface.
- 350 g Pressed Body: A pressed bowl with a 4.9 cm foot stays stable when served on trays or in buffets.
- Stackable Shape: The shallow profile nests for storage, which matters in dessert stations with limited shelf space.
- Service Ready: The interior is smooth, so washing is quick and flavours do not carry between desserts.

This glass bowl is aimed at restaurants, ice cream parlours, hotels and home dessert service. Buyers typically place it in a range that needs one recognisable decorative accent without moving to a full bespoke mould, and because the body is a standard production shape the tooling cost is already absorbed into the piece price.
In service the glass is expected to move between back of house washing and front of house display several times a day. The surface withstands standard commercial detergents, and the rim geometry has been kept simple so that stacking and racking do not put point loads on the lip. For retail programmes the same item can be boxed as a single unit or combined with the matching pieces in our range to build a story around colour and pattern.
Sampling buyers usually test three things: whether the decoration survives twenty dishwasher cycles, whether the base sits flat on a granite or marble surface, and whether case pack dimensions match their pallet plan. All three can be confirmed with a stock sample before any production deposit is placed.
Packaging and Quality AssuranceEach piece is packed in a moulded pulp or corrugated divider inside a five layer export carton, with a printed sleeve available for retail programmes. Case pack quantities are set so that a full pallet loads without void fill, which keeps freight cost per unit down for mixed container orders.
Production is inspected at three points: incoming glass quality, decoration placement, and final packing. AQL inspection follows the usual 2.5 major and 4.0 minor plan unless a buyer specifies otherwise, and we keep a retained sample from each run so that repeat orders can be matched for colour and pattern density.
Care and Handling- Yellow Rim Bubble Bowl
- Dessert and Ice Cream Bowl
- Pressed Glass Bowl
Hand washing with a soft sponge is recommended where a decorative surface is present, and dishwasher use is acceptable on a normal cycle at moderate temperature. Avoid sudden temperature change such as pouring boiling liquid into a chilled glass, since thermal shock remains the most common cause of breakage in any annealed glassware. Stored correctly, the piece is designed for years of daily use.
